Antequera, a natural paradise in the mountains
You are in one of the vastest municipalities of the area, a place that bursts with culture, beauty and art. The area stands out for the production of olive oil and the cereal crops, which are used in the local cuisine.
Get to know the city by walking around its streets or through cultural guided tours. While you walk you will be amazed by the majesty of the Peña de los Enamorados and by buildings such as the Alcazaba or the San Sebastián Church. Do not leave without visiting the wonderful spots that surround Antequera. We could point out the Torcal, declared a protected area by Regional Government of Andalucía. Another place of interest is the Laguna de Fuente de Piedra.
We suggest you to vvisit the city’s museum so you can know more about the history of Antequera. We strongly recommend you to taste the delicious dishes of the region, typical specialties such as the cardoon salad, the conejo a la Cortijera, the Porrilla caliente or the madrone with almonds.
